Welcome to Wooler United Church

Our congregation welcomes all.

Church services are regularly every Sunday starting at 10:30 from the 2nd Sunday in September till the last Sunday in June. In this time period services may be cancelled due to severe weather storms. Our members and visitors safety is very important.

In the summer months and first Sunday in September, Sunday services are cancelled.

On April 21th Rev Steve Spicer retired from Wooler United Church. We wish him a wonderful retirement and will miss him from our Church Family.

Our Sunday Services will be conducted using Pulpit Supply. This will be a retired minister or a Licensed Lay Worship Leader (LLWL) presenting the service. Please check our service schedule below to see who will be in the pulpit on a given Sunday.

APRIL

Apr 6 - Church Service at 10:30.
Apr 7 - Soup & Sandwich Lunch 11:30 to 1:00. $10 per person all inclusive.
Apr 13 - Church Service at 10:30 with Rev. Steve Spicer. Potluck lunch downstairs follows the service.
Apr 20 - Easter Church Service and Communion at 10:30 with Rev. Steve Spicer.
Apr 21 - Rev Steve Spicer retires. We thank Rev Spicer for being our minister for the past 2 years and wish him a long and happy retirement.
Apr 27 - Church Service at 10:30 - UCW Sunday.

MAY

May 4 - Church Service at 10:30 with Rev. Brenda Timpson
May 5 - Soup & Sandwich Lunch 11:30 to 1:00. $10 per person all inclusive.
May 11 - Church Service at 10:30 with Marilyn Fortin (LLWL).
May 18 - Church Service at 10:30 with Marilyn Fortin (LLWL). Potluck lunch downstairs follows the service.
May 25 - Church Service at 10:30 with Marilyn Fortin (LLWL).

JUNE

June 1 - Church Service at 10:30 with Rev. Brenda Timpson.
June 2 - Soup & Sandwich Lunch 11:30 - 1:00. $10 per person all inclusive.
June 8 - Church Service at 10:30 with Rev. Brenda Timpson.
June 15 - Church Service at 10:30 with Marilyn Fortin (LLWL). The potluck lunch is cancelled this Sunday.
June 22 - Church Service celebrating the 100th year anniversary of the United Church of Canada at 10:30 with Rev. Dr. Kathy Edmison. A BBQ at the church follows the service.
June 29 - Church Service at 10:30 with Marilyn Fortin (LLWL).

JULY & AUGUST - Church Services cancelled for summer.

SEPTEMBER

Sept 1 - Soup & Sandwich Lunch 11:30 - 1:00. $10 per person all inclusive.
Sept 7 - No Church Service
Sept 14 - Church Service at 10:30
Sept 21 - Church Service at 10:30. Potluck lunch downstairs follows the service.
Sept 28 - Church Service at 10:30
